Ella loves football. Watching the Redskins, of course. And thanks to her Aunt and Uncle she always has an outfit to show her pride.

Pictures, Pictures and More Pictures
I am going to post as many pictures as I can because I have become a slacker. When I first started this blog it was with the best intentions. Ella has gotten older, bigger and becoming her own little diva.
Ella was sick for a couple of days and daddy stayed home with her. She took over his seat and he snapped this picture so I could see how cute/pitiful she was.
This is Ella showing her Redskin pride, she borrowed mommy's hat and put it on herself :)
Is this not the picture of an angel. She really is my precious baby and I am truly thankful for her.

4th of July!
This year was Ella's second firework display an she really enjoyed it. I was very apprehensive about her reaction to all the noise but since we were farther away she loved them. She didn't cry and even ohhh'd and awwww'd. We were at a friends house watching the display and were there until around 10. Greg and I were hoping hat she would sleep for awhile before the fun began but Ella had a different idea. She didn't fall asleep until 10:15, once we were int he car and heading home. I am so proud of my little girl, no tears!
Water fun!
Aunt Sissy and Uncle Dave got Ella a water table for her first birthday and she loves it! It is a big deal for me to have Ella love the water and so far she does. I will say that when we do go to the pool it takes her a few minutes to "warm up" to the water but then she enjoys herself. The pictures below are the first time she got to play with her table and she actually had so much fun that we probably should have put her suit on her. She was splashing and laughing so much that we ended up having to do a wardrobe change. Enjoy the pics! :)

Animals, Animals, Everywhere!
For those of you who don't know Ella is obsessed with birds. So I got this bright idea to take her to the Reston Pet-A-Pet Farm. She loves birds and so I thought she would all the animals. Well she liked it but after paying to get in she was more impressed by the birds flying around, the "free" birds we have at home. I must say she is a daddy's girl when it comes to nature. I would rather look at nature through the window but not Ella. Every morning when I take her to daycare, Miss Lee, she "asks" to go out and look at the birds and planes. Planes are another obsession. She is such a cutie when she sees a bird, she points at the sky and babbles and ohhs and awwws. Enjoy the pics :)

Fun Pics
Ella is changing everyday. She kisses, blow kisses, says uh-ho, yeah, ma ma, da da, mo (more) and "sings" with music. She is obsessed with birds and planes and is the neighborhood watch. The chair her Aunt Sissy and Uncle Dave gave her for Christmas is sitting right by a window in the front of the house and she will stand on the chair and watch what is happening and will bang on the window to let everyone know she is there. I can't believe I am a mom to a almost 14month old. She is no longer an itty bitty baby, now she is a toddler, and a beautiful one at that.

Better Late Then Never!
I have totally dropped the ball when it comes to Ella's blog! I am a terrible mother. Well I am trying to fix it so the next couple of days there will be alot of posting.
The first is going to be of Easter. That mornign she came downstairs and found that the Easter bunny had come during the night and left her some goodies. She loved the ears and read the ladybug book. My dad, sister and her family, and Ella's family met at church where there were activites for the children. Ella participated in her first Easter egg hunt, where she found a pink egg, ate some easter goodies and got a ton of kisses from family and friends there. Then the fam went out to an Easter lunch buffet where Ella did her best to keep up with her cousins. She had eggs, toast and even tried some bacon, that was a no go. She got to see the Easter bunny there, for the second time, and got a treat from him. Needless to say she had a super nap that afternoon. I say fer her second Easter she had a super day!

My Baby is a Big GIrl!
I can't believe that Ella is one! When I think about everything that she accomplished and I look at the pictures I am in awe. I am a mom of a beautiful one year old. I know that this journey is going to get better and better but I don't think I can be a prouder mom. I find myself just watching her or giving her so many kisses when all she wants to do is crawl, climb stairs or wrestle with her stuffed animals.

Almost the big zero 1
Ella is 11 months old and it feels like this has happened way to fast. I feel like just yesterday I was feeding her every 2 hours, watching her sleep, and worrying over every little noise she mad. Now, she is eating like a big girl, trying to take only 2 naps a day but sometimes she needs a third and getting into everything. She is pulling herself up, crawling like a champ, putting everything in her mouth, and biting. I can't believe that she is biting this early but I tell myself that she is doing this because of teething but when she does bite and I tell her no she just looks at me a giggles. We are in trouble people. Her favorite food right now is mac and cheese and I mean love like she had a second helping tonight even after having cheerios, carrots, and peas. She is wearing 6 to 12 month clothes, so she is a little on the petite, just like her mother, ha ha. I will post some pictures soon.

9 months old and precious!
Yesterday Ella Boo turned 9 months. She is waving goodbye and is even feeding herself now. I found out from Aunt Sissy that in 3 months she should be on all table food and no baby food. I am excited about that but I don't want my baby to grow up. I know, cut the cord.
9 months stats
17 pounds and almost 13 ounces
27 3/4 inches long
4 teeth
tons of smiles :)

Our Social Butterfly
Pop pops and I were out with Ella this morning when our social butterfly did something new. She has always loved to watch people and will look around to see who is coming in or going out of a room. Well today, while we were out,a very nice man waved to her and she picked up her arm and open and closed her hand once. Dad and I were amazed but once can be a reflex right? Well then the man waved again and she waved back AGAIN!!!! Ella might not like to feed herself with her hands but at least I know she can move her fingers :)
