Dance Fever!

Ella and Cousin John playing on the boppy.

Ella with her dancing shoes on!

Look at that face, it is like she is saying "mom what are you making me do?"

On August 15th Ella attended her first wedding. My friend Sara was getting married in Warrenton and Ella loved it. Better yet she was fabulous! There were other children there but Ella was the youngest. She was pretty quiet during the ceremony and let her hair down, alright so she doesn't have much to let down, put on her dancing shoes and she was off! We had some fun times dancing as a family also. When we finally headed to the car she was asleep before we were down the driveway.

Speaking of sleeping, Ella has officially started to sleep through the night. She goes to bed at 10 and I wake her up at 7 to start our day. I have heard from many other moms that sometimes they will have some rough nights, or even a couple of weeks but I am not worried. Every night that I get to sleep through I am thankful for.

Ella is having a great time playing with her new friend Grace, a baby that I am watching, and for 2 weeks her nephew. I will admit it is work but when they are "talking" and giggling it is worth it, plus I get to be with Ella.

Enjoy the pictures. :)

Rollin' Over

Ella has crossed another milestone. Last night she rolled over. I was taking pictures of her and when I put her down on her stomach she just rolled over. Daddy was down in the basement so I screamed for him to come up. I ran to get the video camera and gave it to Daddy. Lights, camera, action! She rolled over twice for the camera. The pictures above were taken right before the big rollover.

Ella Is 3 Months Old

I can't believe it my baby girl is 3 months old. It seems like just last week we were bringing her home, I watched her sleep, and yes even put my finger under her nose to make sure she was still breathing. I am definitely a first time mommy. August 1st Ella was 3 months old. It was a busy day so by the time we took the pictures the birthday girl was in her nightgown. She is such a happy baby as you can see. She has started to giggle and is talking up a storm. Her new trick is to stand up, of course that is with help, but if she is fussy and doesn't want to be held all I have to do is put her feet down and she is as happy as a clam.
