Pop pops and I were out with Ella this morning when our social butterfly did something new. She has always loved to watch people and will look around to see who is coming in or going out of a room. Well today, while we were out,a very nice man waved to her and she picked up her arm and open and closed her hand once. Dad and I were amazed but once can be a reflex right? Well then the man waved again and she waved back AGAIN!!!! Ella might not like to feed herself with her hands but at least I know she can move her fingers :)

Chritmas Has Arrived!!!!
Ella woke up like every other morning not really realizing what a morning it will be. I had butterflies in my tummy and could wait to see her reaction. We had both the video camera and the regular camera. The day was a blur but I will say having my family and my beautiful baby girl around me helped me to enjoy the day the best I could. I know that tat is what Mom Mom would have wanted.

First Day of "School"
Well I call it school but it is daycare. This morning I was all tears when I dropped her off but she was fine, even smiled for me as I was leaving! I must say, i am glad that I got job but working outside the home stinks. On a brighter note, Ella is getting her first tooth!!!! When I got home today I looked in her mouth and could see a little white. Bring on the steak!

Ella's 2/3 year's old!
Baby Ella is 8 months old. Her main form of transportation is rolling. She will roll from one side of the room to the other. I was hoping for a tooth but alas no tooth. She is drooling and chewing on anything she can get her hands on including mom's hair. Her favorite food is mango, if I would let her she would lick the carton. This month we have spent a lot of time with family. We saw Gam for Christmas, Cousins Cindy, Scott, Cole and Reese came up from Texas, Grandma and Grandpa and of course we spent time with Pop pop, Aunt Sue, Uncle Dave, Grace and John. It is so much fun to see Grace, John and Ella playing. I can't believe Sue and I are old enough to have children!! wink wink!
